ATLANTIC CITY, a tier 1 travel destination, has been a tourist magnet since 1854, when Philadelphia speculators created it as a rail terminal resort. Casino gaming. Spas. World-class entertainment. Nightlife. Fine dining. Ocean. Boardwalk. Golf. Fun attractions. Fishing. Water Sports. Shopping. Any way you look at it, this is one great resort with fast-paced excitement. |

Challenge:

While working collaboratively with the ACCVA marketing team, our goal was to provide media that is not only more visually pleasing, but concise in its message. This goal, coupled with the automation of various data sources and business processes, would require a unique balance of web software development and design efforts.
Solution:

nGravis developed a professional, multipurpose online portal geared towards marketing the Atlantic City's services and attractions not only to the traditional, older crowds but target the younger masses through a fun and interactive online marketing approach. Our team clearly presented and managed a host of valuable visitor information through the development of a well-structured, automated portal using extensive site planning and data modeling techniques.
Process:

Our development team performed a three-tier assessment geared to organize the array of various client information, best present this information on Internet from both a technology and end user perspective, then market and distribute streamlined content to potential visitors and industry partners.
After gathering and analyzing assessment data, our team was able to utilize a Client Management System (The Destination 3000) within the ACCVA's internal network to organize all client information, then using a custom utility, export this information seamlessly to the Internet.
Impact:

The end result, following our assessment, development, and implementation efforts was an informative, self-maintained, web portal providing visitors and businesses with the following online functionalities:
- Online Membership Directory synched real-time with local ACCVA Client Management System, to export membership information such as profiles, coupons, and related images, providing web visitors with current ACCVA information.
- All data relating to Visitor Request Information, Membership Request Information, Request For Proposals, Newsletter Registration and are seamlessly imported from the Internet to the local ACCVA Client Management System, eliminating mass data entry.
- Secure Member's Only Section for client's to privately view/update membership information such as leads and memorandums
- Trip Planner functionality where visitors could log in, plan a vacation using the Real-time Online Directory, then print to use when visiting the area.
- Search Engine Optimization campaign resulting in a number one placement within all major search engines for keywords "Atlantic City"
